Gum disease has also been linked to complications with pregnancy and diabetes. In your professional cleaning appointments, we will look for symptoms of gum disease. Early treatment is minimally invasive and can be highly successful.

• Scaling and root planing - Our gentle hygienists can perform scaling and root planing to smooth the teeth’s surface below the gum lines and eliminate areas prone to plaque buildup.
• Arestin - Arestin is an antibiotic that we may administer to alleviate infection of the gums.
